JOB OPPORTUNITY:

Sales Executive/Folding Cartons

Growing, dynamic and highly successful company located in Southeastern Massachusetts seeks a proactive, experienced Folding Carton Sales Executive to enhance and grow sales in targeted markets: Medical/Pharmaceutical, and/or Food and Beverage.

Position Summary

To develop and achieve sales in existing accounts from established relationships; and target/acquire new customers in targeted markets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and deliver presentations to customers
• Retain and continue to grow existing customer base
• Develop (Open) and close new sales leads
• Generate new accounts
• Structure proposals – while creating viable packaging solutions
• Present and sell to purchasing, marketing, design and engineering
• Manage key administrative tasks as they relate to sales and sales opportunities
• Project management including internal/external design
• Negotiate purchase orders and contracts with clients as well as supply chain
• Work on special projects as required
• Occasional domestic travel

Qualifications:

• BA or BS required
• 5 or more years of successful sales experience with a proven record of developing new business and expanding business base selling packaging to customers
• Proficient in building relationships with customers and vendors
• Strong analytical skills - ability to assess, design and sell packaging solutions
• Ability to communicate and negotiate with customers and suppliers
• Strong work ethic and maturity
• Excellent Communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Self Starter and Entrepreneurial: highly organized and self-motivated
• The ideal candidate controls and can bring us immediate Folding Carton business in our targeted markets, and frow business by learning and offering/selling other product lines: Corrugated, Displays, Plastics, etc.
